FIFA 13 Ultimate Team: Advanced Trading Methods

Using the basic money making techniques is effective but can get very boring and repetitive fast. These advanced methods will be more complex than the methods in my last FIFA 13 trading article and will be more suited towards advanced traders.

Method 1: Investing In Players
This method involves a large amount of risk so only do this if you are not afraid to lose a few coins.

First off, it helps to watch real life football for this method because you will have to decide which players you think will increase in price. For example, Lewandowski was worth about 1.5k before the Champions League semi-final game against Real Madrid. After the game that he scored 4 goals in, his price skyrocketed up to around 10k and he got a Man of the Match card.

If, whilst watching the match, someone noticed that Lewandowski was performing
well and bought 40 of him for 1k each and sold them the day after for 10k he would have made 360k profit!

This also works with players in the TOTW, because they are not in packs for a week their prices increase. You can buy them just as they are announced on Twitter and wait for their prices to rise to sell for a profit.

Method 2: CM > CAM or CDM
There is not much risk in this trading method.

This method has you converting players who are usually CMs into CAMs or CDMs.
Players such as Gundogan for Borussia Dortmund or Marchisio for Juventus increase in price a lot when converted to CAM or CDM position. This is because the most popular formations in the game 352 and 41212 do not have CMs.

Firstly, buy the players that you will be selling, preferably on bidding to maximise profit but you can get them on Buy it Now faster.

Secondly, buy the position modifiers. You can buy both CM>CAM and CM>CDM for 200 BIN.

Then change the player's position and list for 1000 more than you bought them for. List them for 6 hours.

Method 3: LM/RM>LW/RW

This method is very similar to the above method but it is using players who are usually LM or RM and converting them into left or right wingers.

Buy the players in 433 formation and convert them into the right position. I recommend using popular players such as Elia, Valencia or McGeady.

The position modifiers are worth approximately 800 coins and you can sell the players in LW or RW for 2k more than their normal cards to make a 1k profit per card.

.

These methods are complicated and some involve a lot of risk but if you can do them right then you can earn millions of coins in almost no time at all. I hope these methods will help you become rich in FIFA , if they do then be sure to tell everyone about Top Gaming Tips.

Review

Pace - 88
He is very quick and agile, mainly because of his 93 Acceleration. Even though his sprint speed is an unimpressive 86, he is still very speedy and can easily sprint past defenders.
Pace Rating 9/10

Dribbling - 84
He is a good dribbler with 85 ball control. He has the traits, Flair and Speed Dribbler which makes him great at changing direction quickly, this is also helped by his 4* skills.
Dribbling Rating 8/10

Shooting - 84
His shots are like rockets! Having 89 Shot Power, 89 Finishing, 91 Curve and 86 Long Shots really helps to make him great at scoring from any distance or angle. He can beat the greatest keepers with his powerful, accurate shots that fly into the top corner every time.
Shooting Rating 9/10

Defending - 50
Defending isn't important for a LW so his low stats are not a problem.
Defending Rating 5/10

Passing - 79
His passing was good, nothing spectacular but he could find his man consistently. He has 76 Long Passing and 82 Short Passing so he can play good passes to his team mates
Passing Rating - 8/10

Heading - 48
He is dreadful at heading. With only 45 Strength, he is unlikely to win any 50/50 chances. He has 74 Jumping, which is decent but with his low strength he can't push players away to get a clean header. 39 Heading Accuracy means that he can't head the ball in the right direction even if he does win the header, which is a rare occurence.
Heading Rating 4/10

Is he worth it?
Yes! He is a cheaper version of Hazard with almost identical stats. He fits perfectly into any Belgian team.

Stat Review

Pace - 38
Oh dear, Totti's pace is one of the lowest in the game in all positions, let alone LW, where a lot of speed is needed to get past the opposition RB/RWB. His lack of speed is instantly noticeable in game. Most players can take a few touches before they need to pass but Totti will almost definitely lose the ball if you try to run with him. If he had at least 65 pace, then he would be an incredible player. If he had 85 or more pace he would be one of the best players in the game. 38 pace is an embarrassment.
Pace Rating 1/10

Dribbling - 86
Totti was actually a very good dribbler if he got the chance, which was very rare because of his dreadful pace. He could move to ball well and wouldn't take any bad touches due to his 95 ball control. However, seeing as his sprint speed is very low, efficiently utilising his good dribbling skills is difficult
Dribbling Rating 7/10

Shooting - 87
His shots were like cannons! They were always on target and extremely powerful. Any shots from inside the box were guaranteed to score and 1v1s with the keeper were very likely to score. Unfortunately, his pace made it difficult for him to get into a shooting position but when he did get a chance he was insanely good.
Shooting Rating 9/10

Defending - 50
He cannot defend to save his life, he struggles to make tackles and once a player gets past him, he can't keep up or get back to defend. He would be useless as a LM in a 352 formation. It would be best to use him as a LF.
Defending Rating 3/10

Passing - 90
He was the perfect playmaker, he could get the ball to any team mate from anywhere. His through balls were always perfectly placed for the striker to receive and score. He could rip defences apart easily by passing.
Passing Rating 9/10

Heading - 49
Even though he didn't get many heading opportunities, when he did have a chance he seemed reluctant to jump and if he did get the ball he was inaccurate and couldn't place the ball.
Heading Rating 5/10

Is he worth it?
Probably not, unless you enjoy being outrun by even the slowest of players. He could be decent in LF where less pace is needed but still he would be too slow. Most of his stats are amazing but they are let down by his horrific pace. You could try him out if you enjoy a challenge but otherwise, I would not recommend him.

FIFA 13 Ultimate Team: IF Klose Review

Stand out In-Game Stats

Xbox 360 - 36,650
PS3 - 54,000
PC -274,500

Traits
Power Header

Heading
Klose's main stat is his amazing 89 heading which is noticeably good, especially when playing against centre backs with lower heading stats. He can consistently produce goals from crosses and corners which other strikers aren't capable of scoring. He is taller than players such as Falcao who also has very high heading stats. Heading Rating 10/10.

Shooting
His card stat may only say 79 shooting but his shooting seems much better than that, his shooting was practically perfect due to his 99 finishing, all of his shots would be on target and straight into the corners where the goalkeeper can't reach. This meant that any shots from inside the box were almost guaranteed to go in. However, his shots were not particularly powerful so scoring from outside the box was a bit more difficult but he could still score easily from the edge of the box but long shots were very hard to score. Shooting Rating 9/10.

Pace
His pace stats, 80 acceleration and 78 sprint speed would suggest that he is not particularly fast but is quick enough to get the job done. In FIFA 13 though, most players use cheap, pacey defenders such as Dede, Felipe Santana and David Luiz. These centre backs have very similar pace to Klose and using him against these fast defenders will mean that they will be able to catch up and prevent Klose from scoring. The best way to use Klose to not worry about his slightly lacking pace is to use very fast wingers to get in an accurate cross for him to head into the back of the net.
Pace Rating 7/10

Dribbling
80 dribbling and 86 ball control means that he is good at keeping the ball close to him and not losing the ball because of taking bad touches. He can dribble the ball around players well to get into a shooting position to score. He isn't brilliant at dribbling so don't expect him to beat the best defenders in the game with ease.
Dribbling Rating 8/10

Defending
Even though defending is the least important stat for a striker, it is still useful to be able to defend from the front and steal the ball from the opposition defenders and score an easy goal. This is something you can't do with Klose because he doesn't have good enough tackling stats to win the ball. This isn't that important for a striker though and isn't a serious problem.
Defending Rating 4/10

Passing
Klose has 69 passing which is unimpressive but it is all you need for a striker because they do not need to do the long balls that CMs have to do. All they have to do is short passes and through balls. Klose is capable of doing this well and his passes are good enough for what he has to do.
Passing Rating 6/10

Is he worth it?
It depends on your play style, if you like like to cross a lot then he is definitely worth a lot more than what you can get him for. If you like to pass the ball around then he would be a valuable addition to a German or Serie A team but if you like to play with very fast and sweaty players then he will probably be difficult to use and not worth the coins.

How to Price Lock / Fix a Player in FIFA 13

In Ultimate Team, a good way to make coins very fast is to price lock a player. It is a risky method of earning coins but the potential to earn millions is very high. Here's how to do it.

To start off with you should have at least 250k+ coins because you will need to buy several in form players.

First off, you need to decide on which player you want to use. The best to use are gold in forms from the earliest TOTWs because they are now very rare. Then you have to buy all of the cards on the market so that there are none left for other players to buy. You will have to check back every so often to make sure no others have been listed, if any have then you should buy them ASAP. Once you have every card of the player then re-list them for a higher but still reasonable price, don't try to sell an in form worth 20k for 1 million coins, people won't buy them. A player worth 20k could be locked to 35-50k and people would still buy them. If they don't all sell straight away, then list them again but lower the price by 1k. Once they have all sold you should have made a very large profit and made a load of money that you can use to make a team, trade or even price lock another player.
