Battlefield 3: How to Survive For Longer in Helicopters
Many people struggle to survive in helicopters and they get taken down instantly. I will show you how to avoid this.
Attack Helicopter
There are a few key things you need to do to survive in the attack helicopter.
1. Have a gunner- gunners can use flares to stop you from getting shot and will also help destroy any threats that will be attempting to take you down.
2. Take cover- if you are getting locked on to by the enemy then the best way to stop them shooting you ins to get something in between you and them. This will break the lock and stop them from shooting you down.
3. If you have unlocked it use ECM Jammer- The ECM Jammer works like the flares do but it will also stop laser designated Javelins from hitting you. When paired with a gunner using flares this can be extremely effective.
4. Pay attention to the enemy vehicles- If two helicopters are in a face off then the one who attacks first will most likely win, make sure you know where the enemy is.
Scout Helicopter
In the scout helicopter the techniques used are similar but slightly changed.
1. Have an engineer riding with you- He will be able to repair the vehicle to 100% very quickly if you take damage and if he has a javelin or stinger he can help you destroy enemy vehicles.
2. Same as the Attack Chopper
3. Get out of the combat and wait- Enemies will forget about you and you will have time to regain health and come back with an advantage, can also applies to the attack helicopter
4. Same as the Attack Chopper
