Battlefield 3: Infantry Tips

It can be difficult to win a shoot out between two infantry soldiers. Here are a few tips that, if followed will improve you k/d.

1. Use a weapon you are comfortable with, if you are used to the gun then you will be more likely to get the kill

2. Make sure your weapon is suited to the map, using a PDW or a shotgun makes sense on Operation Metro but not on Caspian Border.

3. Spot the enemy ( back or select) to make him appear with a small red arrow above his head so that your teammates can come and assist you, if he is distracted by a tank you can easily kill him.

4. Have a full clip, even If you have just fired one bullet then reload, you never know when it will come in handy.

5. Don't sprint around corners, if an enemy is waiting there he will kill you before you even have the chance to get your weapon ready.

6. Aim for the head, head shots provide a damage multiplier that could let you finish him that few milliseconds faster so you can win.

7. Take cover, the less of you he can see the less likely he is to get any shots on target or even see you.

8. Crouch/Prone - crouching or going prone will lower the amount of bullet spread when you are firing so you will be more accurate.

9. Use grenades, when you die with grenades left to use it is a waste. Grenades will suppress and damage the enemy leaving them at a disadvantage when you go in the kill them.

10. Use attachments appropriate for your style of play, if you are sneaky use a suppressor, if you fight at long distances use a high zoom scope and a heavy barrel, if you are defending an objective use a bipod and if you are in close quarters use a flashlight to dazzle your opponents.

These are a few tips to help you at Battlefield 3 infantry combat.
