Battlefield 3 Teamwork Tips

Battlefield 3 is heavily focused on teamplay and rewards players with many points for working in a team. I will give you some tips on how to work in a team effectively.

* Always join a squad! You get 10 extra points for resupplying, healing, reviving and many more.

* Play with friends! It will be more enjoyable and you will naturally stay together more, so you have an advantage against enemies.

*  Communicate! You can tell each other where enemies are and ask for medkits/ammo packs.

* In vehicles, have at least one player use the engineer kit! Say you are in a tank and an enemy tank comes round the corner, the gunner (engineer) gets out and shoots the enemy with an RPG to help his tank. After the enemy tank is destroyed he can repair his own tank.

* Make sure everyone uses different squad specializations! They do not stack up so having more than one of them is a waste.

* Spawn on your squad! You will be able to get back into the combat straight away and help attack/defend the objective or spawn straight into a vehicle. It is much faster than running all the way from the base.

* Stay together! If you come across an enemy you will have 2x the firepower and 2x the chance to kill them and if one of you die then the second can just revive them(if they are an assault).

* Play your class properly! If you're assault, revive and drop medkits to keep your team alive. If  you're an engineer repair friendly vehicles and destroy enemy ones. If you are support then place ammo boxes to keep the team supplied. Scouts should let their team know where the enemy is and place spawn beacons so the team can spawn closer to the objective.

* Spot the enemy! Use back/select to spot the enemy and make them appear on the radar for the whole team and with a small red arrow above his head so they can easily be found and killed.
